“Spatial Data Analysis for Ground Water Quality Assessment With Special Reference to Fluoride” - A Case Study of Dhar District, Madhya Pradesh, India

Water is a prime natural resource and physiological necessity to mankind. Therefore, drinking water must not carry harmful chemicals as well biological contaminants for the well-being human health. Some of like Fluoride, Iron, Arsenic, Cadmium, Chromium, Lead, selenium, Nitrate in may produce serious changes when exist beyond permissible concentration.
 
 The Aim study was create spatial map purpose Dhar district, MP. ground quality data were collected from PHED, M.P. IMIS (Ministry Drinking & Sanitation) Website,Government India. GWQ layers created  separately each element Pre-Monsoon Post-Monsoon period point with interpolation technique. Each wise layer has been categorised into `three catagories (1) potable Desirable limits (2) Potable (3) non-potable water, per BIS standard, 2015. Union eight pre-monsoon post-monsoon done integrated Integrated Ground Quality (GWQ) have prepared after these two maps, Final prepared. It concluded study, that multiple parameters are affecting district particularly excess Nitrate, Total Hardness (as Caco3), pH, Dissolve solids prevalent area. About 69.66% Habitation severely affected mainly by pH Iron(Fe) observed about 70.51% area terms Quality.
